This Privacy Policy describes how the Txyber Remote KYC Chrome Extension ("the Extension") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure experience. This Extension's sole purpose is to facilitate and automate the remote Know Your Customer (KYC) process for BLS visa applications requiring liveness verification.

Information We Collect

The Txyber Remote KYC Extension collects specific types of information strictly limited to what is necessary for its advertised single purpose:

• Personally Identifiable Information:
• User ID and Transaction ID: These identifiers are scraped directly from the specific BLS liveness application page you are actively viewing. This data is essential for generating a unique liveness session link for your client and associating the completed liveness verification with the correct BLS application.
• Liveness Event Session ID: This ID is received from our Txyber backend servers upon your client's successful completion of the remote liveness verification. It is then automatically submitted back to the BLS form.
• Public IP Address: Your current public IP address is retrieved via a call to `https://api.ipify.org`. This is used solely for secure session routing and anti-fraud measures during the remote selfie process to ensure the client's connection is properly managed. We do not store your IP address beyond the active session.
• Authentication Information:
• License Key: A unique key provided by you for initial activation of the extension.
• Activation Token: A server-generated token obtained upon successful license activation. Both the license key and activation token are securely stored locally within your browser's extension storage and used exclusively for validating your license to use the Txyber Remote KYC tool.
• User Activity / Device Information (PC Fingerprint Data):
• Anonymous PC Fingerprint data includes: your browser's user agent string, language, operating system platform, screen resolution, color depth, timezone offset, estimated device memory, and hardware concurrency. This data is used solely for license validation and anti-fraud measures to ensure the authorized and secure operation of the licensed extension. It does not track your general browsing activity, visited web pages, clicks, or any other personal online behavior.

How Information is Used

The information collected by the Txyber Remote KYC Extension is used strictly for its intended purpose:

• To validate your extension license and manage access to the tool.
• To generate unique and secure remote selfie links for your clients based on the specific BLS application data.
• To poll our servers for the real-time status of your client's liveness verification.
• To receive the completed Liveness Event Session ID and automatically submit it to the BLS form.
• For anti-fraud and security purposes related to the licensed use of the extension and the remote KYC sessions.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We will not share your information with any third parties except in the following limited circumstances, which are directly related to the extension's core functionality:

• Txyber Backend Servers: The collected User ID, Transaction ID, PC Fingerprint data, License Key, and Activation Token are securely transmitted to Txyber's backend servers (`https://bls.txyber.com/api/...`) for the purpose of license validation, selfie link generation, and polling for session completion. This is fundamental to providing the extension's service.
• IPify API: A request is made to `https://api.ipify.org` to obtain your public IP address. This IP address is then securely passed to Txyber's servers as part of the selfie session generation for routing purposes. IPify's own privacy policy would apply to their collection of your IP for their service.
• BLS Visa Application Portal: The final Liveness Event Session ID is injected and submitted to the BLS form, as explicitly intended by the extension's design and user initiation.

We will also disclose information where required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Data Storage and Security

All sensitive information (like your license token) is stored securely within your browser's local extension storage, protected by Chrome's security mechanisms. Data transmitted to our servers is done so over encrypted channels (HTTPS).

We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. Session-specific data (scraped IDs, generated links, polling status) is cleared automatically upon successful submission or explicit user action ("Clear Polling Process").

Your Choices

You can manage your data by:

• Using the "Clear Polling Process" button within the extension popup to clear all current session data.
• Uninstalling the extension, which will remove all locally stored data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
